Dine local at the Canton Chophouse and Market. Just around the corner from the Onesto and Bliss Lofts, the restaurant features Ohio raised beef, chicken and pork from Wayne County. Enjoy some of the best steak in Canton! The menu also includes hearty sandwiches, fresh salads and classic appetizers. Upstairs from the basement level, speakeasy style restaurant is a small marketplace that sells produce, sandwiches, soups, salads, pickles, jams, chocolates and more.

Entertainment for all ages in a friendly downtown setting
If you want entertainment, downtown Canton’s seasonal music and food festivals will keep you busy. And the Canton Palace Theatre shows movies or hosts live shows just about every weekend. Have a hankering for live music? Head to Buzzbin or The Auricle to hear national touring and local bands.
First Friday is a monthly party in the downtown Canton Arts District. This event features themed live music, performance and visual arts events and always a few surprises for adults and children. Rain or shine, this monthly party is a self-guided tour of local art galleries, studios, stores and restaurants that is a favorite of many Canton families.
A short drive to more places to shop
The downtown Canton Farmer’s Market offers great local, fresh produce every June – October. A small, discount grocery is located on West Tuscarawas at Fulton that provides quality local products and goods. And locally-owned Fishers is located just minutes away at 44th Street at Cleveland Ave., NW. The Belden Village Mall area for more shopping and dining is just minutes away via downtown’s quick access to Interstate 77 and Route 30.
